“Volunteer” defined.
(a) An individual who performs hours of service for a public agency for civic, charitable, or humanitarian reasons without promise, expectation or receipt of compensation for services rendered is considered a volunteer during such hours.
The Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre provides year-round entertainment for Island residents and visitors. From up-and-coming acts to school musicals, community theatre, and well-known seasoned performers. The Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre is a not-for-profit that relies on the generosity of our volunteers; any time volunteering is greatly appreciated.
Volunteer Rewards Program:
- Each volunteer is allowed a complimentary water bottle or pop for every show. Along with your choice of chips, chocolate, or popcorn
- For every 10 hours worked, volunteers are rewarded two complimentary tickets to a performance.
- Hours are carried forward each year and do not expire.
- You can make a ticket request anytime if you have the hours accumulated.
