Following up on the overwhelming response last year to the original M Factor film “Shredding the Silence on Menopause”, we are excited to continue the conversation with a screening of The M Factor 2: Before the Pause, a groundbreaking documentary shining a much-needed light on perimenopause, the often-overlooked transition that can begin years before menopause.
This film invites us to understand what’s happening in women’s bodies earlier, to ask better questions, and to advocate for informed, preventive care that supports long-term health and well-being.
Our talented and hilarious MC’s, Jenna Harvey and Jessica Gautier, will keep the mood light while we learn and share about a time in women’s lives that can begin as early as the mid-thirties and affect physical, emotional, and overall wellbeing for years.
This film blends real women’s stories with insights from healthcare experts to explore how hormonal changes during perimenopause can impact heart, bone, brain and sexual health as well as mood and energy, relationships and daily life.
Following the film, there will be a panel discussion and Q&A with local health professionals and an opportunity to visit health education and resource booths.
Tickets are General Admission – you will choose your seats upon arrival on a first come basis.
