Then came the cross Canada tour on the outrageous Festival Express with such bands as The Grateful Dead\, Janis Joplin\, Ian & Sylvia and The Band\, to name a few. With a little help from friends The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane\, they recorded their first album on Columbia records. Gigs at San Francisco’s famed Fillmore West and L.A.’s Troubadour and in Northern California with The Grateful Dead\, Jefferson Airplane\, Quicksilver Messenger Service were monumental. \nBrian and Bruce Good joined forces with their younger brother Larry in 1973 and performed their first gig at the legendary Toronto club The Riverboat\, on May 14\, 1974. It wasn’t long  before The Good Brothers were packing Toronto’s fabled El Mocambo five nights a week; breaking bar records\, attendance records and exhausting determined dancers. The Good Brothers self-titled debut album went double gold and in 2003 their album titled “One True Thing” was voted Canada’s number one Independent Album of the Year and 2017 saw the release of the brand-new album titled\, Wide Awake Dreamin’.

SUMMARY:Lettice and Lovage: A Peter Shaffer Comedy!
DESCRIPTION:Seaside Theatre presents Peter Shaffer’s riotous comedy\, Lettice and Lovage.  In this long running West End play\, we meet two characters who at first are at polar opposites: Lettice Douffett\, the flamboyant tour guide who is not above adding some “interesting” facts to her tours\, and staid Lotte Schoen\, her boss who believes that facts are facts\, no matter how boring.  The two nevertheless form an unlikely friendship over a shared disdain for bland modern society\, and together they plot against it\, with unintended results!  A hilarious play with two wonderful roles\, Maggie Smith and Margaret Tyzack earned Tony Awards for playing these characters.\n\nSeaside Theatre Company is PEI’s newest community theatre\, and is based out of the Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre in Summerside. The company aims to “build community through theatre” by drawing on the many talents found throughout the Island\, and by presenting a wide variety of theatrical productions for both audiences and participants to experience.\n\nPreviously at Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre\, Seaside Theatre has presented Black Comedy\, The 39 Steps\, Dear Jack Dear Louise and The Mousetrap.\n\nYour continued support is greatly appreciated!
